A rookie year game-worn jersey from legendary defencemen Bobby Orr was put on auction this past Wednesday through an online memorabilia auction company, Heritage Auctions.

The Bruins jersey, which is known to be 1 of 2 jerseys worn by Orr in the 66-67 season is owned by John Rows from Ontario, Canada.

The Kingston resident got his hands on the valuable jersey in the late 60’s, when his uncle, Garry Young, team medical officer at the time, gave it to him.

Heritage Auctions believes the jersey could fetch upwards of $100 000. If you have extra cash laying around and want something that will surely only gain value, you can bid on the jersey until April 23.

Are you excited for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa? You can already have a piece of the action by getting the Jabulani Official match ball which is proudly made by Adidas. Now you’re probably asking what the heck does Jabulani mean? It’s actually from a South African official language and it means “to celebrate” in English. With the Grip’n’Groove technology, the ball offers maximum control and grip while on the ground or in the air. For $139, you’ll get the most advanced soccer ball around and a nice piece of football (soccer) memorabilia.

Sad that the Phillies lost last season? This silk screen print might cheer you up. It’s dedicated to the newly acquired starting pitcher of the Phillies, Roy “Doc” Halladay. Clif Lee might be gone but this six time All-Star pitcher can surely give the Phillies a better shot at the World Series next season. With only 200 prints made, you better order one for yourself now before it runs out. It’s printed on Stonehenge 250 GM and is a must-have for your Phillies memorabilia collection.
